What services do you offer?

I offer individual psychotherapy services in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland.

What’s it like to work with you?

My style is collaborative and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your life, needs, choices, and preferences. We are a team, and my aim is to support you. I welcome feedback on how therapy is going and will always be seeking to move us toward your goals.

Can I speak with you to determine if it’s a good fit?

Please do! I offer free consultation calls where you can get to know me better and ask any questions. Feel free to reach out through the form below and we can set up a call.

What modalities do you use?

Therapy isn’t one size fits all, and I tailor my approach for each client. I blend relational psychotherapy and evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and culturally responsive.

If you’re interested in a modality I don’t currently offer, like EMDR, I can usually recommend a colleague who can.

Can you offer in-person sessions?

For NYC clients, I can offer in-person sessions in Brooklyn Heights and Midtown Manhattan. For NJ and MD clients, I offer telehealth sessions.

How long are sessions?

A standard therapy session is 45 minutes. If your needs differ, we can discuss customizing a plan for you.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network (OON) provider. This enables me to provide more confidential and personalized care.

Check out this article to learn more about accessing your OON benefits. I’m supported by a wonderful admin team who can help you figure out your coverage and submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf.

I also offer sliding scale and am committed to making therapy more accessible. Reach out and we can discuss what feels comfortable for you.

What if I’m not sure if I want to start therapy?

I get it! I know firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to start therapy and the importance of finding the right fit. I’m always happy to hop on a free consultation and help figure out what makes sense for you.
